sieving

Last week, I dropped by the house of my best friend, Quennie, to borrow her electric mixer. I found her sieving flour ingredients for the cake she baked. I was fascinated by the way she used and handled her baking utensils and equipment. She seemed so expert and efficient in baking. Ever since we were in college, she had been baking goodies at home, with the supervision of her mother.
